Customer Experience Team

The passion of the Customer Experience Team towards inclusion has led to the introduction of the gender -neutral Mx instead of Mr, Mrs, Miss or Ms – supporting our trans and non-binary colleagues and customers. They successfully increased colleagues’ knowledge, by updating KIT to help them understand the transition process for customers changing name and/or gender. They also implemented a process of allowing Barclays to accept direct notification of a gender change from credit reference agencies, ensuring compliance with the Gender Recognition Act and aligning with other financial institutions. This has all been achieved with the can-do attitude of a small group of passionate colleagues.

Heat View were excited to show the panel of judges their technological prowess. Retro-fitting their car with an elaborate thermal imaging system, they actually went as far as driving around Glasgow for about 4 hours on Friday night.
